About the National Research Body
The charity organisation known as Brain Tumour Research has a clear vision and mission to construct a network of experts into sustainable research into brain tumours.
Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. But, just 1% of the national spend on cancer research is allocated to this devastating disease.
Brain Tumour Research are here to try and raise funds for seven dedicated research centres into brain tumours, whilst challenging the government and larger cancer charities to invest more in brain tumour research.
They are focused on finding a cure for brain tumours and are driven to accomplish their ambitious goals by driving engagement and building compelling campaigns.
In doing this they hope to reach their lobbying milestones and achieve some breakthroughs in their research programmes.
They are the only national charity dedicated to sustainable research into brain tumours, continually demanding better outcomes for patients and their families.
They are passionately committed to raising both awareness and funding for research. They wish to embrace the experiences of volunteers, supporters, member charities, like In Sue’s Name, their research centres and corporate partners.
They value their relationships with everyone in their community, however this devastating disease has affected lives. Shared stories and tireless efforts should come together as one voice to make us all stronger.
